River Ouse from Cutter Inn, Ely

The River Ouse, view from The Cutter Inn, back in the Summer following busking stint. Also cast a fishing line for the first time in roughy 40 years and caught a couple of plump roach by the bridge to the Marina where Cambridge University Boat Club have their HQ. I am amazed that CUBC have been given the go-ahead to wreck the unspoilt river bank downstream of Ely with their new boathouse. Despite fierce opposition of local wildlife protection societies. A totally unnecessary act of vandalism big banner coming up! I'm posting here again after debunking to Facebook because google-search ignores FB and because politically dodgy Facebook Adkins have been removing too many FB entities for no good reason. Here's my BBC Radio 4 feedback for the day. Copied to Greenwise. Greenwise comprises, in order of enlistment. Caroline Lucas, Julian Huppert, Zac Goldsmith, Joan Whalley, Glenda Jackson, Master of Corpus Christi College Cambridge (where I was an undergraduate 1981-1984), Jenny Jones, Alex Salmond, Scottish First Minister Nicola Sturgeon.
